A tidbit about Bates Mercantile Co. straight from the shop owner:
I've been creating since I remember........including painting rocks and actually selling them door to door in my neighborhood! Years and years later, Bates Mercantile Co. was born out of the need to create simply for creating's sake. In my 3D business, I do a lot of creating for customers, but by the time we get to the end result, something in the creative process is often lost. I wanted to be able to create things simply because I felt like creating. Bates Mercantile Co. specializes in printable wall art and must-have vintage items. My partner in crime is The Chief Support Officer and historical research guy. Our etsy shop has been a wonderful way to meet fellow creative folks around the world, and people who appreciate something that is special, that you won't find in a department store. We have customers in every corner of the world, from Canada and the US, to Scotland, Australia, Norway and beyond. Too cool! We hope you will take a look around.

For several months, I've had some chevron patterns on my inspiration board. Finally got around to playing around. Here they are in an all out war against the colorful circles.
